When overlaying or paving over an existing parking lot is not an option, we utilize asphalt milling. During asphalt milling, old or damaged asphalt is ground down with a milling machine and removed from the site. This process allows the paving crew to install the proper thickness of asphalt while maintaining proper curb reveal. The option to reuse the processed millings in a new area on site is always an option that allows opportunities to save additional costs on a project.
FCI constructs milling on residential, commercial, and public properties. Our fleet of milling machines operates daily using the newest technologies available. Included is cutting existing pavements to depths from a fraction of 1” to 13” in one pass in widths of 2’ to 12’ wide.
